The development environment
Claude Code and BMAD, TNT training, community backing
Neither a blank page nor a ready-made app
BrainDup is a complete development environment, working from day one. Not a cloud service to customise. Not an abstract framework to assemble brick by brick. It is a working frame combining infrastructure, methodology, development rules and human backing. You open the project, you start the stack, you write code. No stress.
The goal is simple: every hour spent on the project should be a productive hour, not an hour of configuration, architecture choices or looking up conventions.
Day 1: what you get
1. A Docker infrastructure ready to run
More than eleven pre-configured services, orchestrated and tested together: Django, FastAPI, Milvus, Neo4j, Ollama, n8n, Nextcloud with Collabora, PostgreSQL, MinIO, NGINX. NVIDIA Grace Ready installation scripts included.
2. A pre-filled CLAUDE.md
Claude Code does not meet your project cold. The CLAUDE.md that BrainDup ships already holds the project rules, the naming conventions, the permitted dependencies, the architectural patterns and the explicit prohibitions.
3. One hundred and seventeen pre-approved permissions
No friction. Claude Code can start the Docker containers, read the logs, run the tests and edit the configuration files, without interrupting you at every command.
4. Nine specialised BMAD agents
The BMAD method (BMad Agentic Development) structures the project's life cycle:
| Agent | Role |
|---|---|
| Analyst | Functional scoping, gathering requirements |
| Architect | Technical design, architecture choices |
| Dev | Implementation, refactoring, code review |
| PM | Project tracking, prioritisation, roadmap |
| QA | Tests, validation, acceptance criteria |
| Scrum Master | Agile rituals, velocity, continuous improvement |
| Tech Writer | Technical and user documentation |
| UX Designer | User journeys, interfaces, ergonomics |
| Solo Dev | Autonomous mode for independent developers |
5. Development rules that are not negotiable
- Local processing only: no data leaves the infrastructure
- Variables in English: code anyone can read
- n8n as a pure HTTP orchestrator: no business logic in the workflows
- AI Act and GDPR compliance: built in from the first line of code
6. A CI/CD pipeline
Every commit goes through an automated pipeline:
- Lint: black, isort, flake8
- Tests: pytest, with an 80 % coverage threshold
- Security: bandit, to catch vulnerabilities
7. A persistent memory (claude-mem)
Architectural decisions, bugs fixed, features built: all of it accumulates across sessions. Measured result: 86 % less token consumption and an assistant that genuinely knows your project's history.
What that changes
| Without BrainDup | With BrainDup |
|---|---|
| 3 to 6 months to assemble the stack | A working stack on day 1 |
| Architecture choices made alone | Architecture validated by our projects, extended by the community |
| No imposed methodology | BMAD structures every phase |
| A developer alone with the code | Nine AI agents and an active community |
| Carrying the client relationship alone | The community helps scope and steer |

The cascade effect
When a BrainDup project starts, the whole organisation is aligned.
The CEO
Knows what AI can do, and what it cannot.
The consultant
Can steer the project with the BMAD method.
IT
Commands the on-premise infrastructure and its security.
The developer
Commands the sovereign stack and the AI agents.
No stress.
